Fioritura: 2025 Vermentino, Paso Robles

This special wine comes from the Margett Vineyard and the Duas Terra Vineyard, both farmed with minimal intervention.

Did you know, the environment of a vineyard greatly affects the taste of the wine? Anything from climate, soil, and topograhy can alter the depth, notes, and acidity. Taking all of this into consideration, Gianna Prainito makes her wines with love and intention.

The Margett Vineyard has gentle rolling hills and sandy looms. The grapes for this wine were picked just before a heat wave, adding a zesty acidity to the wine. The Duas Terras Vineyard is farmed by a 4th generation farmer on land with rich topsoil on top of calcareous rocks and sandstone. These grapes were picked after a heat wave, giving the wine some gentle texture.

A third of the grapes were foot tread and soaked on skins for an hour and then whole cluster pressed. Fermented in the sunshine with native yeast in neutral oak barrels, aged on lees for 8 months in neutral oak. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with minimal sulfur.
